What a Salesforce quick start covers
What's included
What you actually get
On the call we map how you sell and serve customers, and look at the state of your records. Then we set it up end to end. Here's what a typical quick start includes.
What we set up
- Salesforce matched to your process: the right screens, fields and steps for how you work
- Your existing records moved in from spreadsheets or an old system, de-duplicated and tidied
- Routine steps automated: new enquiries assigned, follow-ups flagged, the basics handled
- Reports and dashboards that show managers what's happening at a glance
- Connections to tools you already use, where agreed in the scope
- The whole set-up checked against your real day-to-day before handover
What you walk away with
- A working system with your information already in it
- Your team trained in their own screens, with their own data
- Plain-English documentation of the set-up
- An admin handover, so someone in your business can make changes
- Full ownership: it's your Salesforce account

What we need from you
Your side of it
A quick start runs smoothly when a few things are in place on your side. We tell you exactly what we need before any work starts.
From your team
- One person on your side who can make decisions and answer questions
- Access to the documents or records the work depends on
- A couple of hours of your team's time for training near the end
Your own licences
- A Salesforce subscription in your business's name
- Salesforce bills you for those licences directly, and it is separate from our fee
- Buying them yourself is why the account, and everything in it, stays yours
How it works
Three steps to a system your team uses
Scope call
A short call to map your process, the state of your records, and what's in and out. You leave with a written scope, a timeline and a price before committing to anything.
Set up & move data
We set Salesforce up to the agreed scope, move your records in and tidy them, and build the automations, reports and dashboards your workflow needs, checking in as it comes together.
Handover & training
We take it live, train your team in their own system, and hand over the documentation and admin access. From there, your people run it.
What it looks like
A concrete example of scope
One worked example of a quick start, to make it concrete. The real scope gets mapped with you on the call, around how your business runs.
Example scope: Salesforce set up for a sales team. We profile the source first: what is in the spreadsheets and the old system, how many records, how many duplicates. That becomes a field by field map of where each piece of information lands. Accounts, contacts and deals carry an external ID from the source system and load in that order, so the links between records survive the move. After loading we reconcile counts and totals back to the source, so you can see nothing was dropped or doubled. The screens, the pipeline stages and the weekly reports are matched to how the team already sells.

When this fits, and when it doesn't
A quick start is the right tool for a focused, well-defined setup, not for everything. Here's when it's a fit, and when it's worth waiting.
A great fit if…
- You're setting up Salesforce for the first time, or you have it and nobody uses it
- You can describe your core process, like how an enquiry becomes a customer
- You want your team trained in it, not just handed logins
- You have Salesforce licences, or you're choosing them now
Probably not yet if…
- You need a large, multi-department transformation, which is a bigger program than a quick start
- Your process is still being worked out. A call can help you get there first
- The records that need moving in can't be accessed yet
What we will not do
Where we draw the line
Better to say this now than halfway through a project.
Not part of a quick start
- We do not resell Claude or Salesforce licences. You buy those directly, so the accounts stay yours
- We do not start work without a signed scope
- We do not run an ongoing help desk. If you want help after handover we can arrange it separately
- We do not build custom software
- We will not migrate data we have not reconciled back to its source
Pricing
From A$10,000
The quick start is quoted as a single figure for your scope, starting from A$10,000. You approve the number before any work begins.
A single figure
One price for the whole project, based on the scope we agree together, not an hourly rate.
What moves the price
How many records move across, how many systems they come from, how much clean-up they need first, how many processes get built, and how many people need training.
Changes agreed first
If the scope needs to shift part-way, we bring the change and its cost to you before doing the work.
